Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JAN 27, 1999.

G.R. No. 136019 (Nori Manajero and Norberto Manajero vs. People of the Philippines.)

The motion of counsel for petitioner for a second extension of thirty (30) days from November 20, 1998 within which to file a petition for review on certiorari is DENIED, petitioners' motion for first extension of time to file said petition having been previously denied in the resolution of December 7, 1998; and his prayer therein to withdraw as such counsel is NOTED.

It appearing that petitioners failed to file the intended petition for review on certiorari within the prescribed period, the Court RESOLVES to INFORM the parties that no petition has been filed in this case and that the judgment sought to be reviewed has now become final and executory. Let this case be considered CLOSED and TERMINATED.
