Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated MAR 3, 1999.
G.R. No. 133757 (Presidential Commission on Good Government [PCGG] vs. Hon Aniano Desierto, et al.).
The compliance of petitioner with the resolution of October 12, 1998 submitting a copy of the PCGG latter dated August 26, 1998 marked as Annex "A" as proof that counsel for respondent Alejandro Melchor was served with copy of the petition and its annexes is NOTED.
The copies of the resolution of July 8, 1998 addressed to respondents Jose R. Tengco, Rafael Sison, Placido Mapa, Benjamin Romualdez and Caridad E. Orpiada which were returned to this Court unserved with notations "Insufficient address." "Unknown," "Moved," and "Unclaimed", respectively; and of the resolution of September 2, 1998 addressed to respondent Evelyn J. Narciso which was returned unserved with notation "Unclaimed;" of October 12, 1998 addressed to Atty. Estelito Mendoza and respondents Rafael Sison, Placido Mapa, Benjamin Romualdez, Jose Tangco and Evelyn Nicasio, which were returned unserved with respective notations "Unclaimed;" and of November 23, 1998 addressed to Jose R. Tengco which was also returned to this Court unserved with notations "Unknown" are hereby deemed SERVED on aforenamed respondents by substituted service pursuant to Rule 13, Section 8 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
