Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEPT 13 1999.

G.R. No. 122078 (Philippine Rabbit Bus Lines, Inc. vs. National Labor Relations Commission, et al.)

It appearing that Atty. Fabian Gappi, counsel for respondent, has failed up to the late date to pay the fine of P3,000.00 imposed upon him in the resolution of 13 January 1999 for his repeated failure to file comment on the petition for certiorari, per certification dated 18 August 1999 issued by the Cashier of this Court, the Court RESOLVES to ADJUDGE Atty. Fabian Gappi GUILTY of contempt of Court under Section 3[b], Rule 71 of the Rules of Court, and ORDERS his imprisonment until he pays the fine of P3,000.00 imposed in the resolution of 13 January 1999. The Division Clerk of this Court is directed to ISSUE the Order of Arrest and Commitment for immediate service by the National Bureau of Investigation.
