Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEPT 13 1999.

G.R. No. 127440 (Fernando Santiago vs. GSIS and Spouses Rustico and Fe Santos.)

Acting on the letter dated September 6, 1999 of Dr. Rodelo S. Valera requesting that his father, Atty. Elpidio Valera, be relieved of his duties as counsel for private respondent Santos for health reasons and praying that the warrant of arrest be lifted and the fine imposed upon Atty. Valera be recalled; and considering that the law firm Tenefrancia Agranzamendez Liceralde and Associates has entered its appearance as counsel for private respondents on August 4, 1999, the Court hereby RESOLVED to LIFT the warrant of arrest issued upon Atty. Elpidio Valera and to recall the fine imposed upon him.
