Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated SEPT 8 1999.

G.R. No. 132354 (People of the Philippines vs. Deomedes Iglesia.)

It appearing that Atty. Pablo Baltazar, counsel for accused-appellant, failed to submit to this Court accused-appellant's conformity to his withdrawal as counsel as required in the resolution of 09 December 1998, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the motion of Atty. Baltazar to withdraw as counsel for accused-appellant and to REQUIRE him to file appellant's brief within an INEXTENDIBLE PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) DYAS from notice hereof, under pain of contempt.
