Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEPT 27 1999.

G.R. No. 138554 (Nancy Lim, et al. vs. People of the Philippines.)

Acting on the motion of petitioners for reconsideration of the resolution of 26 May 1999 which denied petitioners' motion for extension of time to file petition for review on certiorari, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the motion with FINALITY, no compelling reason having been adduced to warrant the reconsideration sought; besides, the petition for review on certiorari was denied in the resolution of 21 July 1999 for late filing and payment of the balance of the deposit for costs as well as for lack of an affidavit of service of copies of the petition on respondents and the Court of Appeals.
