Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEPT 13 1999.

G.R. No. 139498 (Antonio Priego vs. People of the Philippines.)

The motion of petitioner for extension of thirty (30) days from 24 July 1999 within which to file petition for review on certiorari is DENIED for petitioner's failure to submit an affidavit of service and the postal registry receipts as proof of service of copies of said motion on the respondent and the Court of Appeals as well as a written explanation for its non-personal filing with the Court pursuant to Sections 11 and 13, Rule 13 in relation to Section 2, Rule 45 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended.
