Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated AUG 21 2000.

G.R. No. 139083 (Florencia Paris vs. Dionsio A. Alfeche et al.)

Considering that the Secretary of Agrarian Reform who issued the Emancipation Patents being assailed in this case was not impleaded as respondent, the Court resolves to:

(a) DIRECT the Clerk of Court to furnish the Office of the Solicitor General copies of the petition, comment and memoranda filed in this case; and

(b) REQUIRE the Office of the Solicitor General to file its Memorandum/Comment for the State and the Secretary of Agrarian Reform within twenty (20) days from receipt of this Resolution and the aforecited pleadings.
