DE CHAVEZ-BLANCO vs. ATTY. LUMASAG, JR.
SECOND DIVISION
Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 09 DEC 2002.
Adm. Case No. 5195(Nelia Pasumbal de Chavez-Blanco represented by Atty. Eugenia J. Munoz vs. Atty. Jaime Lumasag, Jr.)
Considering that the conflicting allegations of the parties in this case require the holding of evidentiary hearings (which include the subpoena and examination of witnesses and the marking of exhibits), of which none appears to have been held in this case, the Court RESOLVED to REMAND this case to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines with instruction to conduct an investigation and require the parties to submit their evidence and thereafter to submit a report and recommendation within ninety (90) days from notice hereof.
Very truly yours.
