Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated JUN 25 2002.
A.M. No. 01-7-453-RTC(Re:Request for Transfer of Arraignment and Trial of Criminal Cases Involving Suspected Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) Members and Other ASG-Related Persons from Zamboanga City to Another Location.)
(a) The Letter dated April 3, 2002 of Regional State Prosecutor Wilfrido M. Yu of Region X, Zamboanga City, requesting that the arraignment and trial of the forty-one (41) additional criminal cases for Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention against Kadaffy Janjalani, other suspected members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) and other ASG-related persons filed in the Regional Trial Court of Isabela City, Basilan, Branch 1 and 2, to wit:

be transferred to another location is NOTED in view of this Court's Resolution dated April 10, 2002 granting a similar request made by Atty. Pura Ferrer-Calleja for the transfer of said criminal cases to the Regional Trial Court of Pasig City, Branch 261.
b) Action on the request of Regional State Prosecutor Yu that the detention of the following twelve (12) accused:
Ahmad Totong Macrohon a.k.a. "Abdulsaid," a.k.a. "Abu Said"
Munib Assa a.k.a. "Galib Hassan," a.k.a. "Moon Assa"
Mark Teodoro a.k.a. "Dako Baba"
Elizer Marcos y Iksi a.k.a. "Brandy"
Basir Majiril a.k.a. "Abu Jar"
Abdulnasir Bairulla a.k.a. "Sam"
Absar Halil Saraman a.k.a. "Asmad"
Kusair Munir
Taupik Munir
Kisar Halil Saraman
Salom Aralon
Yadzri Suwaib y Manatad a.k.a. "Abu Mohammad Namuh"
be ordered transferred to Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig, Metro Manila, is HELD IN ABEYANCE pending submission to this Court of certified true copies of the Informations filed against them, it appearing that the abovementioned accused are not among those included in the forty-one (41) criminal cases enumerated in (a). Regional State Prosecutor Vu is given ten (10) days from receipt hereof to submit the said documents.(Quisumbing, J., is on leave.)
