Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information is a resolution of this Court dated OCT 20 2003.

G.R. No. 129389 (People of the Philippines vs. Teodorico Ubaldo.)

RESOLUTION

In a minute resolution dated July 20, 1998, the First Division resolved to change the title of the case from "People of the Philippines v. Teodorico Ubaldo" to "Teodorico Ubaldo v. People of the Philippines." However, in the promulgated decision in this case dated 17 October 2001, the old title "People of the Philippines v. Teodorico Ubaldo" was erroneously retained.

Considering the recommendation of Atty. Ma. Piedad F. Campa�a, Chief Reporter's Office to correct the promulgated decision so as to accurately reflect the title, the Court resolved to:

(a)CHANGE the title in the promulgated decision from "People of the Philippines v. Teodorico Ubaldo" to "Teodorico Ubaldo v. People of the Philippines" as to conform with the minute resolution of July 20, 1998;

(b)CHANGE the words " accused-appellant" and "appellant" in the text of the promulgated decision to "petitioner" and likewise the words "plaintiff-appellee" and "appellee" in the text of said decision to "respondent"; and

(c)DIRECT the immediate entry of the corrected judgment in due course.
