Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated AUG 10 2004 .

G.R. No. 164200 (Merle C. Ramoneda vs. Civil Service Commission.)

Considering that in the resolution of 27 July 2004, petitioner's motion for extension of time to file a petition was already denied, the Court Resolved to NOTE WITHOUT ACTION the Manifestation dated 29 June 2004 filed by counsel for petitioner, with information that the petitioner wanted to furnish the Court of Appeals with a copy of the Motion for Extension to File Petition for Review upon realizing such oversight but the same cannot be done since 30 June 2004 was declared as a non-working holiday in the Province of Cebu in view of the Presidential Oath-Taking held in Cebu City.
