Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated JUN 8 2004 .

G.R. Nos. 134288-89 (People of the Philippines vs. Melchor Estomaca y Carque .)

The Court Resolved to NOTE the Letter dated 12 May 2004 of Director Dionisio R. Santiago, Bureau of Corrections, informing the Court that the execution of the death penalty imposed upon prisoner Melchor Estomaca y Garque, accused in Crim. Cases Nos. 024 and 025, was not carried out as scheduled on 15 May 2004 in view of the reprieve granted by Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, transferring the execution to 13 August 2004.
