Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated OCT 20 2004.

G.R. No. 140929 (Margarito R. Jamero vs. Hon. Achilles L. Melicor, etc., Atty. Alberto Bautista, in his capacity as the appointed Special Administrator, and Ernesto R. Jamero.)

R E S O L U T I O N

It appearing that Atty. Alberto Bautista, court-appointed special administrator of the estate of deceased Consuelo Jamero, failed to pay the original fine of P2,000.00 and the additional fine of P2,000.00 imposed upon him in the Resolutions of November 25, 2002, August 13, 2003 and March 10, 2004, respectively, for his failure to file an explanation and the required memorandum within the period fixed therein which expired on May 2, 2004, the Court Resolves to ORDER the arrest of Atty. Alberto Bautista, DIRECTING the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to (i) ARREST and DETAIN Atty. Alberto Bautista until the latter shall have complied with the Resolutions dated November 25, 2002, August 13, 2003, and March 10, 2004, respectively, by filing the required explanation and memorandum; and (ii) SUBMIT a report of its compliance with this resolution within ten (10) days from notice hereof. Atty. Alberto Bautista is further ORDERED to pay the FINE in the total amount of P4,000.00.
