PEOPLE vs. CARPO

Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEP 7 2004 .

"G.R. No. 132676 (People of the Philippines vs. Barangay Captain Jaime Carpo, Oscar Ibao, Warlito Ibao and Roche Ibao.)

The Court Resolved to NOTE the Letter dated 26 July 2004 of Director Dionisio R. Santiago, Bureau of Corrections, informing the Court that the execution of the death penalty imposed upon prisoners Jaime Carpo y Abat, Oscar Ibao y Tumenes, Warlito Ibao y Somera and Roche Ibao y Tumenes was not carried out as scheduled on 20 August 2004 in view of the reprieve granted by Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, transferring the execution to 18 November 2004."
