Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated SEP 27 2005.
G.R. Nos. 167625-26 ( Primo Obenza vs. Sandiganbayan, et al. )
Pending the comment of the Special Prosecutor, the Court Resolved to NOTE and GRANT the Manifestation and Motion dated 25 August 2005 filed by the Office of the Solicitor General, praying that it be excused from filing a comment in this case in view of the provision of Republic Act No. 8249 designating the Office of the Ombudsman, through its Special Prosecutor, to represent the People of the Philippines in all cases elevated to the Sandiganbayan and from the Sandiganbayan to the Supreme Court.
