Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated NOV. 13, 2006 .

UDK-13736 (Spouses Abelardo and Dolores Suela v. Spouses Manuel and Marina Munda )

From the decision of the Department of Agrarian Reform Adjudication Board (DARAB) ruling in favor of herein respondents, the petitioners appealed to the Court of Appeals. The petition was apparently denied by the CA; hence, the instant petition.

It appears, however, that the petition is not accompanied by a duplicate original or certified true copies of the assailed decision and resolution of the Court of Appeals and that the petitioners failed to pay the requisite docket fees. Petitioner Abelardo Suela attached an "Affidavit of Indigency" praying that he be exempt from paying the requisite docket fees as "he is not gainfully employed since 1980 up to the present considering that his [left arm] was electrocuted and amputated," as evidenced by a photo and medical certificate attached thereto.

Considering the foregoing, the petitioners are hereby DIRECTED to comply strictly with Section 19, Rule 141 of the Revised Rules of Court OR to pay the requisite docket fees within ten (10) days from notice hereof; otherwise, the petition shall be denied for non-compliance with the requirements specified under Rule 45 and other related provisions of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure, as amended, governing appeals by certiorari to the Supreme Court.
