1. Lands in Kansas held in fee simple by a half-blood member of the tribe of Sac and Fox Indians of the State of Mississippi under a patent from the United States, issued pursuant to the seventeenth article of the Treaty of Feb. 18, 1867, 15 Stat. 495, are not exempt from state taxation.
