ERROR TO THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE DISTRICT
OF COLUMBIA AND COUNTY OF WASHINGTON
McLEAN, JUSTICE, delivered the opinion of the Court.
An action was brought in the circuit court by the executors of Lenox, against the plaintiffs in error on a bond given by them in the penalty of $3400; with the condition "that the said John B. Gorman should well and truly prosecute a certain writ of replevin with effect," and also
"should return the goods and chattels replevied, if the same be adjudged, and in all things stand to and abide by, perform, and fulfill the judgment of the court in the premises. "
