Amendments
1996--Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 104-208, Sec. 101(e) [title VII,
Sec. 703(b)(1)(A), (B)(ii), (C)], in first sentence, substituted
``Librarian of Congress, the Director of the Institute of Museum and
Library Services (who shall serve as an ex officio, nonvoting member),''
for ``Librarian of Congress'', in second sentence, inserted ``and at
least one other of whom shall be knowledgeable with respect to the
library and information service and science needs of the elderly''
before period at end, and in third sentence, inserted ``appointive''

Pub. L. 104-208, Sec. 101(e) [title VII, Sec. 703(b)(1)(B)(i)],
