Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of the Court En Banc dated SEP 24 1991 

A.M. No. 91-6-152-SCC.- Re: Territorial jurisdiction of the Shari'a Circuit Courts in the Fourth Shari'a Judicial District (comprising the Provinces of Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur and the Cities of Iligan and Marawi).- Acting on the letter of District Judge Abdulmajid L. Astih, Fourth Shari'a Judicial District, Marawi City, recommending (1) the early organization of the Fifth Shari'a Circuit Court comprising the Municipalities of Kapatagan, Lala, Sapad, Nunungan, Salvador and Karomatan, considering the large Muslim population of this cluster of municipalities; (2) that Judge Nagamura T. Moner, Presiding Judge of the Fourth Shari'a Circuit Court in Iligan City, whose station is most adjacent to the territorial area of the former court be designated as Presiding Judge of the same court; and (3) that the First Shari'a Circuit Court in Tubod, Lanao del Norte which is vacant with the appointment of Judge Samanodin L. Ampaso as Jurisconsult, shall likewise be temporarily presided by Judge Moner until a permanent judge is appointed to these salas or until further orders from this Court, the Court Resolved to (1) APPROVE the proposal of Judge Astih in his letter, dated June 24, 1991; and (2) DESIGNATE Judge Nagamura T. Moner, Presiding Judge of the Fourth Shari'a Circuit Court in Iligan City as Presiding Judge of the Fifth Shari'a Circuit Court until a permanent judge is appointed to these salas or until further orders from this Court.

The territorial jurisdiction of the Shari'a Circuit Court in the Fourth Shari'a Judicial District shall be as follows: 

(a) 1st Shari'a Circuit Court � comprising the Municipalities of Tubod, Kolambugan, Maigo, Bacolod and Magsaysay; with Tubod, Lanao del Norte as the official station; 

(b) 2nd Shari'a Circuit Court � comprising the City of Marawi and all municipalities in Lanao del Sur pending recommendation from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) which has administrative jurisdiction over Lanao del Sur Province; with official station at Marawi City;

(c) 3rd Shari'a Circuit Court � comprising the Municipalities of Balo-i, Pantar, Pantao, Ragat, Poona, Piagapo, Matunggao, Munai and Tangkai; with Balo-i, Lanao del Norte as the official station; 

(d) 4th Shari'a Circuit Court � comprising the City of Iligan and the Municipalities of Linamon, Kauswagan and Tagaloan; with official station at Iligan City; and 

(e) 5th Shari'a Circuit Court � comprising the Municipalities of Karomatan, Kapatagan, Lala, Sapad, Salvador and Nunungan; with official station at Karomatan.
