Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of the Court En Banc dated May 31, 1988

"A. M. No. 88-5-001-CA. - Re: Request of Associate Justice Luis L Victor for longetivity pay.- Acting on the letter of Associate Justice Luis L. Victor, Court of Appeals, requesting that he be granted longetivity pay for his services as City Fiscal of Manila it appearing that Associate Justice Victor was Regional Trial Court Judge of Cavite City and Quezon City from February 1, 1977 to July 24,1986 prior to his appointment as City Fiscal of Manila where he served as such for 1 years, 9 months and 20 days up to April 20, 1988 until his elevation to the position of Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals on April 21, 1988 and considering that under Section 38 of the City Charter of Manila has as amended by R.A. No 6027, the City Fiscal of Manila has the rank of an Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals, the Court Resolved to (a) GRANT the aforesaid request of Associate Justice Luis L. Victor and (b) CONSIDER his services as City Fiscal of Manila for 1 year, 9 months and 20 days as part of his continuous efficient and meritorious service as a Judge in the computation of his longetivity pay.
