RE: PAYMENT OF LONGEVITY PAY OF MUNICIPAL CIRCUIT TRIAL COURT JUDGE NICOLAS A. VILLANEA FROM JANUARY 21, 1963 TO SEPTEMBER 8, 1985.
"Re: Payment of longevity pay of Municipal Circuit Trial Court Judge Nicolas A. Villanea from January 21, 1963 to September 8, 1985.- Acting on the memorandum of Agripina S. Bumanglag, Assistant Chief, Fiscal Management and Budget Office, this Court, requesting clarification as to whether or not the service of Judge Nicolas A. Villanea, Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Lala-Salvador, Lanao del Norte, from January 21, 1963 to September 8, 1985 can be considered in the computation of his longevity pay and it appearing that Judge Villanea was appointed Justice of the Peace on January 10, 1957 and had worked as such until he was called to active duty as Colonel, Armed Forces of the Philippines, from January 21, 1963 to September 8, 1985, his retirement date from the military, and that he retired on September 8, 1985, pursuant to P.D. No. 1638, as amended, with the retirement pay of a Brigadier-General and with longevity pay, the Court Resolved to DENY the request of Judge Villanea for longevity pay from January 21, 1963 to September 8, 1985 for lack of merit."
