PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, PLAINTIFF-APPELLEE VS. TERESA PASAMIC, ACCUSED-APPELLANT.

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 07 April 2010:
G.R. No. 170832 - PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, plaintiff-appellee -versus- TERESA PASAMIC, accused-appellant.
Considering the issues and arguments raised in the appeal, the Court resolves to:
WHEREFORE, premises considered, we AFFIRM the decision dated September 29, 2005 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR No. 00789 finding accused-appellant Teresa Pasamic guilty beyond reasonable doubt of illegal recruitment in large scale and imposing on her life imprisonment and payment of the fine of P500,000.00 with restitution of the amounts received from the complainants in connection with their employment abroad.
With respect to accused Rebecca Loyola and Bambi Ocanipo who are still at large, let this case be ARCHIVED without prejudice to its reinstatement as soon as these accused shall have been arrested and brought to the jurisdiction of the courts.

Considering the issues and arguments raised in the appeal, the Court resolves to:
(1) ADOPT the findings of fact and conclusions of law of the Court of Appeals in the decision dated September 29, 2005 in CA-G.R. CR No. 00789, which affirmed in toto the decision dated January 9, 2001 of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46, Manila in Crim. Case No. 98-1467348; and
(2) DISMISS the present appeal for failure to sufficiently show a reversible error committed by the Court of Appeals in the assailed decision finding accused-appellant Teresa Pasamic guilty beyond reasonable doubt of illegal recruitment in large scale.
WHEREFORE, premises considered, we AFFIRM the decision dated September 29, 2005 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R.
