Quoted hereunder; for your information, is a resolution of the Court En Banc dated December 11, 2007

"A.M. No. 07-7-377-RTC.- Re: Creation of Additional RTC Branches in the Province of Cebu to be stationed at Talisay City.- The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator, to:

(a) AMEND the resolution dated August 7, 2007 in this administrative matter by denominating the additional branches of the RTC to be stationed at Talisay City as Branches 65 and 66 instead of Branches 63 and 64;

(b) FURTHER AMEND Administrative Order No. 7 dated February 11, 1983, as amended, to read as follows:

CEBU

Branches 5 to 24, inclusive, and Branches 57 and 58 with seats at Cebu City - comprising Cebu City and the municipalities of Carcar and San Fernando.

Branches 65 and 66 with seat at Talisay City - comprising the City of Talisay and the municipalities of Minglanilla and Naga.

(c) OBSERVE the following guidelines pending the organization of the Regional Trial Court, Branches 65 and 66, Talisay City, Cebu:

a. Cases arising from Talisay City and the municipalities of Minglanilla and Naga shall continue to be heard in the Regional Trial Court of Cebu City until disposition;

b. Once presiding judges have been appointed to Branches 65 and 66 together with his staff and have assumed judicial functions, cases arising from the aforesaid city and municipalities shall be filed with the Office of the Clerk of Court, RTC, Talisay City provided that:

b.1 the RTC of Cebu City shall continue trying the pending cases arising from the City of Talisay and the municipalities of Minglanilla and Naga unless the parties agree that the cases be transferred to the RTC of Talisay City except the cases already submitted for decision; and

b.2 Cases already filed in the RTC of Cebu City but have not yet reached the pre-trial stage in case of civil cases and the accused not yet arraigned in case of criminal cases which are cognizable by the RTC of Talisay City shall be unloaded to the latter court and shall be raffled among Branches 65 and 66."  Carpio, J., on leave.
