Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 26 November 2008:
G.R. No. 184185 (Victoria N. Mata v. Court of Appeals).� Considering the allegations, issues and arguments adduced in the petition for review on certiorari dated 30 September 2008, the Court resolves to DENY the petition for failure to sufficiently show reversible error in the assailed decision to warrant the exercise of this Court's discretionary appellate jurisdiction.
WHEREFORE, the Court ADOPTS the findings of feet and conclusions of law in the Decision dated 13 August 2008 of the Court of Appeals in CA-G.R. CR No. 30779 which affirmed with modifications the Decision of the Regional Trial Court of Imus, Cavite, Branch 21 dated 16 January 2007 finding petitioner Victoria N. Mata guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Estafa under Art. 315, paragraph l(b) of the Revised Penal Code, and AFFIRMS said Decision.
