Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 24 APRIL 2007

A.M. No. 06-11-701-RTC.- Re: Petition for Upgrading of Position and the Conferment of Judicial Ranks Upon Certain Judicial Officers of the Regional Trial Courts-Association of Regional Trial Court Chief Clerks of Court and Ex-Officio Sheriffs (ARTCCCCES).- The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of the Office of the Chief Attorney, to

(1) CONSOLIDATE the instant administrative matter with A.M. No. 06-1-04-SC (Re: Request for Reclassification of the Position Title and Upgrading of the Salaries of the Lower Court Personnel);

(2) APPROVE the draft Administrative Order submitted by the Court Administrator in A.M. No. 06-1-04-SC creating a Committee to Review the Lower Court's Operations and Organization, and issue the same under the chronological numbering system for administrative orders;

(3) DIRECT the Committee to Review the Lower Court's Operations and Organizations to perform its functions under the approved administrative order and to SUBMIT a report thereon to the Committee on Administrative Concerns within six (6) months from its constitution, with the submitted report taking into account the Report of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Revision of the Staffing Pattern of the Lower Courts created by then Court Administrator Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr. under Office Order No. 27-2002;

(4) DIRECT the Committee on Administrative Concerns to consider the Report of the Committee to Review the Lower Court's Operations and Organizations with whatever output the Asian Development Bank (ADB) technical assistance may submit on the same matter; and

(5) CREATE a Committee that shall conduct a comprehensive study on the matter of granting judicial rank, salary and privileges to all Judiciary officials.
